The challenge
A well-known university often employs fixed-term employees rather than permanent employees. When a contract is renewed, the HR team has to process the renewal request and re-issue a new contract.
The solution
We built a RPA bot for the client that performs the following tasks:
- The bot logs in the university’s internal portal,
- Searches for contract renewal requests,
- Processes the data,
- Creates a new contract in the Payroll system, and
- Email a copy to the employee.
The outcomes
- Contract renewals are taken care of in due time.
- HR team can focus on their people rather than performing low value admin tasks.
- Employees can continue working without delays.
